Vision (Tim Collins)
We have resolved what our mission is for Shift Church;
“We are establishing a church known for the presence and power of God where lives are transformed.”
In a word Presence. His presence, Jesus. We pursue, hunger strive after Jesus’ presence in our church and in our personal lives. We want Him in a tangible way. When we worship we want to experience Him. To have a taste in this life of the glory in the next. Moses said: “If Your presence does not go with us don’t make us go on. It is only You who makes us any different from any other nation.” Jesus presence makes us different from every other religion on the face of the earth. His presence is a must. His presence will be here or we will stop all that are we doing until we find out what has separated us from Him. Then we will change so that what we desire the most is here! Him!
So it is with Shift Church. God’s presence must be our first priority. We must do all that we can to cultivate His presence in our lives privately and corporately as a church. His presence feeds us, His presence heals all of our hurts and His presence gives us life forever.
